Primarily innovated as industrial vehicles during the 1930s in the United States of America, lift trucks gained recognition following World War II during the 1940s. Niwa, the first Toyo Carrier Manufacturing Company Limited, which was later named Toyo Umpanki Co, was established. Now the business is simply known as TCM Corporation.
